User Experience | UX

People are at the heart of User Experience. Without it, technology remains inaccessible

User Experience, ( or as it’s thrown around in conversation, UX ), is an essential part of a functional and approachable website. Properly conceived User Experience encapsulates the experiential, affective, meaningful and valuable aspects of the human-computer interaction.

User Experience isn’t about over-complicating the matter. Quite the opposite, actually. It’s about creating a better experience for the user. The broad responsibility is to ensure a website logically flows from one step to the next and a designer will focus on the interactive side of a webpage (such as a login or product page), how it behaves and how the user might interact with it. Material like this is golden and will help guide the information architecture.

With each touchpoint and interaction, we’ll ask ourselves (and you, of course):

  • Is it usable?
  • Is it accessible?
  • Is it relevant?
  • Is it compelling?
  • Does it exceed customer expectations?

The process aims to solve a problem, whether it be a business or design one. To solve it, we draw on user research and analysis, our own expertise and experience, and thorough testing.

Our approach is driven by your business and it’s needs. We don’t deal in cookie-cutter approaches or templates to get to the core of a user’s experience. We take a mature approach, based on guiding principles, which is fine-tuned to need of your website project.
